About Us

The Blue Sky Marathon Trail Races are organized by Blue Sky Events, a non-profit organization. We are a 100% volunteer organization and all proceeds from our races are distributed to our beneficiaries.

Our goal is to create quality running events in Northern Colorado to showcase the beautiful trails and open spaces that we have available to us. Blue Sky Events is organized exclusively for charitable purposes to benefit parks and open spaces and outdoor and sports organizations in Northern Colorado. All proceeds from entry fees and sponsorships will be donated back to our local community beneficiaries.

We are currently a 501(c)3 Non-profit organization under the RRCA group exemption number 2702. Race entry fees are not tax deductible but any additional personal donations and sponsorship donations are tax deductible.
