Join us in creating a more sustainable community by choosing one of the following options to get yourself to our event on race day!

We are offering limited parking at the race start for any participants who arrive at the race start parking area with a full car of racers. There are a limited number of parking spots so it will be on a first-come basis. All other participants will be directed to the alternate parking area down the road.

Denver International Airport Travelers

If you are travelling from out of state and are flying into Denver International Airport, we would like to suggest a few options for traveling “green.”

Green Rental Cars
Hertz & Enterprise Car Rental both offer hybrid rental cars at DIA.

Green Shuttle Service – Local Fort Collins Business
If you need a ride to and from the airport, but do not need a rental car, please look into using Green Ride Colorado for your shuttle service.

Ride sharing – Local Participants

If you live near Fort Collins, Colorado we’d like to hook you up with other race participants in order to ride share. You join the Fort Collins Trail Runners Yahoo Group and post your ride sharing suggestions or requests.

Other regional running groups that you might be able to connect with to coordinate carpooling are the Denver Trail Runners and the Boulder Trail Runners. Please make sure you follow their specific rules for posting on their message boards.

Another common meeting location in Fort Collins is at JJ’s at the corner of Harmony and Taft. This is not an official park-n-ride location but there is a large parking lot, gas station, and convenience store here. and it is conveniently located just before you continue west on 38E out of town on the way to Horsetooth Mountain Park.
